Marking a near-term milestone in its ongoing testing regime, on March 25th Brazilian eVTOL specialist Eve Air Mobility conducted a successful flight demonstration of its full-scale engineering prototype aircraft before an assembly of observers that included incumbent Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and state representatives of leading  aviation, investment and scientific-research institutions.

In its press release announcing the successful test, Eve took the opportunity to provide updates regarding the progress and status of its platform’s path to certification and eventual operations. According to the company, since December 2025 the full-scale prototype of its flagship aircraft has conducted 35 flights, cumulatively amounting to 1.5 flight hours of operation. These trials have seen the aircraft perform a range of maneuvers, validated its control mechanisms and seen the aircraft attain an altitude of 140 feet (43 meters) above ground level. With these benchmarks completed, Eve is moving to prepare for imminent testing of the aircraft’s capability for conducting flight at higher speeds.
