On December 4th, Florida-based AAM operator UrbanLink announced prospective plans to acquire 20 Integrity series eVTOL platforms from the Spanish startup CRISALION Mobility with eyes towards growing its future fleet of assets as the AAM segment matures and transitions towards operations.
Based out of Madrid, the Integrity prototype series is the foundation of CRISALION’s nascent entry into the piloted AAM market domain after having previously specialized in unmanned platforms. The Integrity platform is envisioned as fulfilling dual roles as a passenger and commercial cargo asset, with the aircraft capable of ferrying one pilot and five passengers and featuring a reported MTOW of 2,800 kilograms.
The platform achieves lift via 16 propellers, powered by 16 corresponding motors and a lithium-ion battery suite. CRISALION states that the aircraft will feature a cruising speed of 180 km and range of 130 km. The aircraft utilizes CRISALON’s FlyFree piloting system, previously tested on the company’s Concept technology demonstrator platform.
Under current plans, the company hopes to initiate flight testing of the Integrity series in 2028-2029 and introduce the platform onto the market in 2030.
