In terms of commercial activity, the 2025 Paris Air show is witnessing substantial orders, though the overall volume may not reach the unprecedented heights of 2023. While 2025 has kicked off with significant wins, such as Airbus’s orders from AviLease and VietJet Air, and Embraer’s deal with ANA, there’s an expectation for a somewhat quieter year for commercial aircraft orders compared to 2023, partly due to existing production backlogs and ongoing supply chain issues. Here is the news that emerged from Paris on Day 3 of the show, typically the last day in which manufacturers and airlines announce major deals.
