Embraer reported strong financial results for the third quarter of 2024. The company delivered a total of 57 jets, a 33% increase compared to the same period last year.  The manufacturer’s backlog reached a record high of $22.7 billion.  The Defense & Security segment saw the largest increase in backlog, followed by Services & Support. The Defense & Security segment delivered two C-390 Millennium transports and secured new contracts with the Netherlands and Austria. The A-29 Super Tucano also garnered attention with sales contracts signed with Paraguay and Uruguay. The segment’s backlog surged by approximately 70% year-over-year.

Embraer’s Services & Support backlog reached US3.5 billion, up over 25% year-over-year. The company expanded its customer support network in the Asia-Pacific region and the United States.
