The Paris Air Show entered its second day with news of a potential major order for Airbus A321neos from Vietjet, Vietnam’s largest private airline. Airbus reported that the airline signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) covering a significant new order of 100 single-aisle A321neo aircraft, with the potential to add another 50 in the future. The agreement was signed during the Paris Air Show by Vietjet CEO Dinh Viet Phuong and Benoît de Saint-Exupéry, Airbus EVP Sales of the Commercial Aircraft business. Operating a fleet of more than 100 Airbus aircraft, Vietjet continues to expand its global network and modernize its fleet.

Leonardo and Falcon Aviation Services announced a new order for an AW139 helicopter, which will serve as a VVIP charter aircraft for Falcon Aviation, enhancing their high-end offerings. This purchase continues Falcon Aviation’s long-standing partnership with Leonardo, further solidifying Leonardo’s leadership in the global VIP/corporate helicopter market.
Bombardier will collaborate with Leonardo on new opportunities in the Maritime Multi-Mission Aircraft (MMA) market. The business jet maker signed an MoU to evaluate integrating Leonardo’s mission systems and sensors into Bombardier Global 6500 jets, aiming to create a long-range MMA aircraft.
Tassili Travail Aérien (TTA) ordered two Cessna SkyCourier aircraft. This marks the first order for an aeromedical-equipped SkyCourier and the model’s debut order in Africa. TTA, an Algerian subsidiary of the national oil and gas company Sonatrach, provides passenger transport, aeromedical evacuation, and other specialized services to the energy sector throughout Algeria. Deliveries are expected in 2026, and the aircraft will be based in Algiers and Hassi Messaoud, Algeria.
Embraer and All Nippon Airways (ANA) finalized a purchase agreement for fifteen E190-E2 aircraft, with options for five additional jets, marking ANA’s first Embraer order. These E190-E2s, scheduled for delivery starting in 2028, will be the first next-generation E-Jets to operate in Japan, enhancing ANA’s capacity to meet growing air travel demand.
The Tunisian Air Force ordered 12 Subaru/Bell 412EPX helicopters. This order represents the first acquisition of this Bell 412 variant in the region and will expand Tunisia’s existing fleet of Bell rotary-wing aircraft for multi-role military and security missions.
The Federal Aviation Administration and aviation regulators from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom are collaborating on an advanced air mobility (AAM) roadmap, according to U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy. This initiative aims to align international standards and streamline the safe integration of AAM aircraft into global airspace by harmonizing airworthiness and certification processes.
Japan Airlines and Maeve Aerospace have signed an MoU to collaborate on the MAEVE Jet, a hybrid-electric regional aircraft. This partnership focuses on optimizing the aircraft’s specifications to meet the economic and operational demands of Japan’s regional network and establishing the necessary support frameworks.
ZeroAvia announced that the UK Government has awarded the company and its consortium partners a grant for a £10.8 million project to develop a novel liquid hydrogen management system. This project will lead to the integration of a lightweight fuel system into a Dornier 228 aircraft, followed by a series of flight tests, establishing the world’s first liquid hydrogen flying commercial airframe testbed.
