Textron Aviation has announced FAA certification for a new Combi interior configuration for the passenger variant of their Cessna SkyCourier turboprop aircraft. This option allows operators to simultaneously transport nine passengers and cargo, significantly increasing the aircraft’s versatility. Deliveries of SkyCourier passenger units with the Combi option are expected later this year.

“This newly certified combi kit adds to the growing list of options for the versatile Cessna SkyCourier,” said Lannie O’Bannion, senior vice president, Global Sales and Flight Operations. “The Combi will allow operators to use the aircraft for an even broader range of missions globally and quickly change configurations to best serve their needs.”

The SkyCourier, capable of single-pilot operations, caters to the air freight, passenger transport, and special mission market segments. The Combi option complements the aircraft’s existing gravel kit, further enhancing the aircraft’s global appeal for diverse customers like government agencies, corporations, and humanitarian organizations.
