Embraer officially opened its new Commercial Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility on June 24 at Perot Field Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas. This expansion, a collaborative effort with the City of Fort Worth and the State of Texas, begins operations in an existing hangar, with plans for a second hangar to be completed by 2027. This new facility is expected to significantly boost Embraer’s customer service capacity in the United States by 53% and represents an investment of up to $70 million, creating approximately 250 new aviation jobs in the region.

Executives from Hillwood and the Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership praised Embraer’s investment for its role in job creation and economic growth. This new Fort Worth center is Embraer’s 13th owned service center globally, further expanding its U.S. footprint and capabilities, according to Frank Stevens, Vice President Global MRO Centers for Embraer Services & Support.
