On December 19th, American eVTOL startup Archer Aviation announced the official receipt of occupancy certification for the company’s Covington, Georgia based high-volume manufacturing facility.
Designated the ARC, Archer envisions the 400,000 square foot facility as manufacturing up to 650 Midnight-series eVTOL aircraft annually by 2030. In the more immediate term, the company is establishing and refining the fundamentals of its burgeoning manufacturing base and hopes to initiate low-rate production amounting to two aircraft per month by the close of the year.
