Leveraging the global spotlight of the Farnborough International Airshow, Brazilian advanced air mobility startup and Embraer subsidiary Eve Air Mobility released a raft of major announcements over the past week drawing attention to the deepening developmental and industrial maturation of its linchpin eVTOL platform.
Throughout 2024, Eve assembled a growing list of partners and suppliers for the platform’s primary components. These partners include contractors such as Crouzet, which will provide pilot controls, and Aciturri, which has leant its specialized skillset in aerostructure development. At Farnborough, Eve announced the conclusion of this selection process, confirming that Diehl Aviation will lend the platform its interior design expertise while ASE (Aerospace Electric Systems) will provide its power distribution and converter systems.
The final selection of primary suppliers allowed Eve to move forward towards a major developmental milestone, the assembly of the first full-scale prototype. The prototype will now be subject to an extensive regime of advanced testing and trials.
