(COMAER) has awarded a contract worth $2.6 million to Deimos Imaging, a
subsidiary of UrtheCast Corp.
Under the deal, Deimos will provide the Brazilian MoD with
Earth observation imagery from the Deimos-2 satellite. Data provided will
include new imagery collected by the Deimos-2 satellite in addition to access
to Deimos’ archived imagery. The contract will last three years and payments
will be spread out equally over the three year period. It also includes an
option to extend the length of the contract to five years, total.
