Joby Conducts First Public Inter-Airport Flight

AAM startup Joby Aviation has announced the successful execution of its first piloted flight between two public airports. Joby’s flagship eVTOL air taxi platform flew for 12 minutes between California’s Marina (OAR) and Monterey (MRY) airports during the test, which encompassed both vertical takeoff and landing procedures and standard flight over a distance of 10 nautical miles.
